Minister Quan Williams is the Director of Policy & Civic Engagement at Congregations Organized for Prophetic Engagement (C.O.P.E.) She joined C.O.P.E. in 2021 and is responsible for leading our legislative advocacy, policy organizing, and civic engagement efforts. Quan has significant experience working at the intersection of faith and social justice issues, including, but not limited to, voting rights. She developed & launched COPE’s 100% Voting Congregations Civic Engagement Project and organizes with faith leaders in the Inland Region toward 100% Voting congregations and communities.
Education wise, Min. Quan has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Pan African Studies: Arts & Literature from California State University, Northridge, a Masters degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a Masters degree in Divinity from the School of Theology at Virginia Union University.
She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and embraces community service as a lifetime commitment.
Aside from this work, Quan enjoys being an auntie, sports, comedy, and music.
