Meet Barret Miller

Barret Miller

Community Organizer (Faith)

Barret Miller earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Nonprofit Management from Southern New Hampshire University, and he also holds an Associate’s degree in Sociology. These educational experiences helped shape his work in nonprofit leadership, but it’s the real-world lessons that have truly influenced his approach to service.

Barret was the Executive Director of a nonprofit organization, where he helped establish its foundation and structure with a focus on serving the homeless. He organized teams to provide essential needs to the homeless across Southern California, including Los Angeles, Pomona, and San Diego. During this time, Barret’s organization also partnered with local hospitals at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, providing support and encouragement to healthcare workers who were facing burnout and emotional exhaustion. In addition to his work with the homeless, Barret has spent time working in a rehabilitation center, offering care and hope to individuals struggling with addiction. Later, he had the privilege
of serving the homeless community in San Bernardino, helping individuals and families rebuild their lives, strengthen their faith, and find hope in their journey.

On a personal note, Barret is a grateful father of two and is blessed to be married to his wife of noble character, who is his partner in faith. His relationship with Christ is his motivation—He is Barret’s purpose, and his work is a reflection of the love and grace Christ has shown him. Barret believes that everyone deserves compassion, dignity, and the opportunity to grow in their relationship with God, and that’s what he strives to bring to each person he encounters.
